DBL WINES is a Spain-based entity founded by David Bernad-Lanuza in 2013 after a prolific career marketing, importing and building wine brands in the United States. In 2001, David founded the Miami International Wine Fair, which grew to become the largest wine trade show in North America featuring over 1,800 wines from 20 countries and welcoming nearly 10,000 visitors. In 2004 David launched VINAMERICAS, nowadays a leading U.S. importer of wines from Spain, France, South America and South Africa serving distributors in 46 states.

 

David was born and raised in Huesca, a small town in northern Aragón but left to the United States in 1991. He graduated with honors from Columbia University in New York with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and economics. 

 

Before following his passion for wine, David worked as a management consultant and technology executive traveling extensively throughout Europe, the US and South America.
